"Don`t let me down"

There`s something wrong. Maybe it`s me. I expect too much from people and they always let me down. Maybe my standards are too high. Or maybe others never try to be better. People are selfish. I can`t tell anymore if this is a bad or a good quality because it seems to be the "normal", the "regular"... people are selfish. Everyone knows that.
I know how it is and still I can`t avoid to get attached. I was aware of this before I started writting but now that I wrote it I feel it even more.
It needs a change.
